Can you install plumbing for a bar sink or toilet?
Yes. On our bespoke and Premium tier builds, we can integrate full plumbing solutions including sinks, dishwashers, and even en-suite washrooms. This is subject to a site survey of your existing drainage to determine the feasibility of connecting to your household mains or installing an eco-friendly pump system.
Is acoustic insulation available to minimize noise?
Absolutely. For entertainment spaces, we highly recommend our acoustic upgrade package. This utilizes specialist acoustic plasterboard, high-density mineral wool insulation within the wall cavities, and decoupled frameworks. This significantly dampens sound, keeping the noise inside the pod and your neighbors happy.
Will my garden bar be warm enough to use in winter?
Yes. Unlike uninsulated sheds, every Pendle Pod features premium PIR rigid insulation wrapped in a fully sealed vapor barrier, combined with high-quality double-glazed doors and windows. Add an optional smart panel heater or underfloor heating system, and your bar will be perfectly cozy even on New Year's Eve.
Do I need planning permission for a garden bar?
Most garden bars fall under 'Permitted Development' and do not require planning permission, provided they are under 2.5 meters tall (which our standard designs are) and do not cover more than 50% of your garden area. We will assess your specific property during our free site survey to confirm and advise you accordingly.
